The Adelphi hotel 
The Adelphi hotel has a rooftop pool deck and their Om Nom bar on the ground floor offers a drinks and nibbles menu downstairs with the occasional theme night on the roof. Great atmosphere.
Bar Ampere 
Bar Ampere offers a terrific seasonal cocktail list as well as beers, wines and nibbles in quirky surroundings. Our group had a couple of pre-dinner drinks and vowed to return.
Loop 
Loop is a popular bar which also offers a rooftop location with a large selection of beers and some wines and cocktails.
Madame Brussels is a Melbourne favourite, offering a large terrace and also indoor spots and party areas. Jugs of cocktails and chicken sandwiches are always a popular choice and many a sunny hour has been spent here admiring the view. The staff are terrific and a fun time is always had. *Mme Brussels has now sadly closed.
Union Electric 
Union Electric is a quirky little rooftop bar specialising in gin cocktails amongst other drinks offerings. No nibbles but you can BYO.
